Why achievements raise your CpS
Every normal achievement adds 4% milk. Milk does nothing on its own, but kitten upgrades multiply your CpS based on it, and each kitten is stronger than the last. With all the kittens, a single extra achievement late in the game can be worth more than a new building. Shadow achievements are the exception: they are listed for completionists but do not give milk.
Easy achievements to pick up
A few achievements only need a click once you know where to look:
- Tabloid addiction: click the news ticker 50 times.
- Tiny cookie: click the small cookie in the Stats menu.
- Here you go: click this achievement's own icon in the Stats menu.
Building achievements unlock at owned counts (1, 50, 100 and up), so a few cheap buildings can be worth buying just for the milk.
